What is Compulsory Motor Third Party Liability Insurance?

The MTPL (Compulsory Motor Third Party Liability Insurance) compensates for damage caused to the life, health, and property of third parties who suffered in a traffic accident. The agreement is valid within the territory of Ukraine.

The law establishes liability limits (the amount reimbursed by the insurance company):

500,000 UAH — for damage caused to the life and health of the victim, without limiting the number of victims.
250,000 UAH — for damage caused to property per victim.
