1. Insurance Object
The insurance object is the life, health, and working ability of the Insured Person.
2. Insurance Risks and Coverage Limitations
Insurance Risks: The occurrence of an accident involving the Insured Person.
For this product, an accident is defined as a sudden, accidental, time-limited, unpredictable event, independent of the will of the Insured Person and/or any other person specified in the agreement, caused by external factors and resulting in harm to the life, health, and/or working ability of the Insured Person.
Accidents under this insurance product include:
Traumatic injuries, wounds,
Accidental inhalation of foreign objects,
Drowning,
Lightning strike and/or electric shock,
Burns, frostbite,
Animal bites, stings from poisonous insects, snake bites, etc.,
Accidental poisoning by gases, household or industrial chemicals within the term and territory of the policy.
Coverage Limitations: The following are excluded from coverage:
Individuals aged 18 years or older at the start date of the policy;
Persons deemed legally incapable as per applicable legislation.
3. Minimum and Maximum Insurance Sum (Liability Limit)
The insurance sum is aggregate, determined by mutual agreement and chosen by the Policyholder from the following options:
UAH 25,000, 50,000, 100,000, 150,000, 200,000, or 250,000 per person
4. Minimum and Maximum Insurance Premium and/or Rate
The insurance rate ranges from 0.2745% to 2.4639% of the insurance sum for the Insured Person.
5. Type, Minimum, and Maximum Deductible (if applicable)
No deductible is provided under this insurance product.
6. Insurance Policy Coverage Area and Term
Coverage Area: Ukraine or Worldwide.
Exclusions:
For coverage in Ukraine:
Temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine;
Areas where state authorities do not exercise their powers or located along the line of contact.
For worldwide coverage:
Areas of military conflict of any kind (excluding Ukraine as per item 1);
Occupied, annexed, or disputed territories, or territories not officially recognized by Ukraine;
Regions advised against travel by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine;
Russian Federation and Republic of Belarus.
Insurance in conflict zones in Ukraine:
Coverage applies only to incidents unrelated to war or military conflict and within the exclusions of this policy.
Policy Activation:
The policy comes into force on the date specified in the agreement, but not earlier than the day after the insurance premium (or its first installment) is credited to the Insurer's account.
Policy Term:
14 days to 1 calendar year.
7. Exclusions and Grounds for Denial of Insurance Benefits
Exclusions:
Events occurring outside the policy’s coverage area or period;
Accidents resulting from or during:
Participation in military, political, or terrorist activities;
Alcohol, drug, or toxic substance use;
Intentional self-harm;
Pre-existing conditions or disabilities recognized before the policy’s effective date;
War, military conflict, natural disasters, or force majeure.
Denial of Benefits:
Fraudulent or intentional actions to cause an insured event;
Criminal acts by the Insured Person or Beneficiary;
False information provided by the Policyholder;
Failure to notify the Insurer of risk-relevant changes or the occurrence of an event.
8. Liability Limits for Specific Insured Events
Traumatic injuries: Percentage of the insured sum based on a payout table (Appendix 1).
Disability status ("Child with a disability") due to an accident: 80% of the insured sum.
Death: 100% of the insured sum.
9. Payment Calculation and Terms
Calculation: Benefits are paid based on the final consequences of the accident.
Traumatic injuries: Percentage of the insured sum as per the payout table.
Disability: 80% of the insured sum.
Death: 100% of the insured sum.
Payment terms: Decision within 20 working days of receiving all required documents. Payment is made within 10 working days of approval.
10. Consequences of Non-Compliance by the Consumer
Failure to comply with policy obligations may result in denial of insurance benefits. Non-payment of premiums within the agreed terms renders the contract void.
11. Availability of Separate Purchase
This insurance product is standalone and not bundled with other non-insurance goods or services.
12. Discounts and Promotions
Discounts are available via promo codes on the Insurer’s website. Promo codes may be obtained through various communication channels, including the website, intermediaries, partners, or social media.
No promotional offers are included.
