1. Insurance Object
The insurance object is the life, health, and working ability of the Insured Person.
2. Insurance Risks and Limitations
Insurance Risks:
The occurrence of an accident involving the Insured Person.
For this product, an accident is defined as a sudden, accidental, time-limited, unpredictable event, independent of the will of the Insured Person and/or another person specified in the agreement, caused by external factors and resulting in harm to the life, health, and/or working ability of the Insured Person.
Accidents under this insurance product include:
Traumatic injuries, wounds;
Accidental inhalation of foreign objects into the respiratory tract;
Drowning;
Lightning strike and/or electric shock;
Burns, frostbite;
Animal bites, stings from poisonous insects, snake bites, etc.;
Accidental poisoning by gases, household, or industrial chemicals within the term and territory of the policy.
Insurance Limitations:
The following individuals are not eligible for insurance:
Persons who are 66 years or older on the date of contract signing;
Persons deemed legally incapable under applicable law.
3. Minimum and Maximum Insurance Sum (Liability Limit)
The insurance sum is aggregate, determined by mutual agreement, and varies for adults and children as chosen by the Policyholder from the following options:
For adults (18–65 years): from UAH 50,000 to UAH 400,000 per person;
For children (0–17 years): from UAH 50,000 to UAH 150,000 per person.
4. Minimum and Maximum Insurance Premium and/or Tariff
The insurance tariff ranges from 0.477% to 4.227% of the insurance sum per Insured Person.
5. Type, Minimum, and Maximum Deductible (if applicable)
No deductible is provided under this insurance product.
6. Coverage Area and Policy Term
Coverage Area: Ukraine or Worldwide.
Exclusions:
For coverage in Ukraine:
- Temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine;
- Areas where state authorities do not exercise their powers, settlements, and territories located along the line of contact.
For worldwide coverage:
- Zones of military conflict of any kind (excluding the territory of Ukraine as described above);
- Temporarily occupied, annexed, or disputed territories, or territories not officially recognized by Ukraine;
- Territories where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has issued a travel advisory;
- Territories of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.
- Coverage in conflict zones in Ukraine:
Insurance coverage is provided for incidents unrelated to war or military conflicts, subject to the exceptions and limitations of the policy.
Policy Activation:
The policy becomes effective on the date specified in the contract as the start date, but not earlier than the day after the insurance premium (or its first installment) is credited to the Insurer’s account.
Policy Term:
1 calendar year.
7. Potential Consequences for the Consumer in Case of Non-Compliance with Obligations Defined by the Insurance Contract
Failure to comply with obligations defined by the insurance contract may result in denial of insurance compensation. Additionally, failure to pay the insurance premium within the terms specified in the contract renders the contract void.
8. Information on the Possibility of Purchasing the Insurance Product Separately
This insurance product is not supplemental to any other goods, works, or services that are not related to insurance.
9. Conditions for Discounts and Promotional Offers
Discounts may be provided through the use of a promo code when purchasing the insurance product on the official website of the Insurer at: www.uniqa.ua.
Promo codes can be obtained through various communication channels, including but not limited to the official website, insurance intermediaries, partners, and the Insurer’s social media platforms.
Promotional offers are not available for this insurance product.
10. List of information essential for assessing insurance risk and/or other circumstances considered when determining the amount of the insurance premium
The information essential for the insurer’s decision on the insurance premium amount under the Agreement and the assessment of insurance risk includes details on:
- the Insured Person’s age,
- the Insured Person’s occupation,
- participation in sports,
- changes in the Insured Person’s health condition,
- the Policyholder’s insurable interest in the Insured Object.
