Climate strategy
• We adhere to the climate goal of the Paris Agreement (1.5°C) and strive to achieve net zero emissions: by 2040 in Austria, by 2050 across the Group.
• Science-based targets ( SBTi ) have been set for 2025, 2030, and 2035.
• Refusal of fossil fuels: coal - from 2019, oil - by 2030, gas - by 2035.
Insurance
• We integrate ESG criteria into property insurance processes.
• We refuse new contracts with companies that harm the climate.
• We monitor insurance clients with high CO ₂ emissions and help them reduce their environmental impact.
Own operational activities
• CO₂ emissions ( Scope 1 and 2) by 42% by 2030 (from 2021 levels).
• We monitor the environmental impact of offices, vehicle fleet, and energy consumption.
• We engage suppliers in meeting our climate goals and environmental standards.
