We believe that quality service begins with respect for the individual. That’s why UNIQA has implemented an Accessibility Policy that covers clients, employees, and all interaction processes. We are gradually removing physical, informational, digital, and social barriers so that everyone has equal access to our services.
What is accessibility?
Accessibility means the absence of obstacles for people with disabilities, low-mobility groups, veterans, internally displaced persons, and other vulnerable categories. It’s a space where every person feels comfortable, safe, and empowered to participate fully in society.
Physical Accessibility
In every region (Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano Frankivsk, Ternopil, Lutsk, Kropyvnytskyi, Chernihiv) where UNIQA is present, we have offices that comply with the State Building Norms DBN V.2.2 40:2018 “Inclusivity of Buildings and Structures” and are adapted according to the National Strategy for Accessibility and NBU recommendations.
The adapted premises include:
• Ramps, lifts, tactile paving
• High-contrast markings and comfortable waiting zones
• Signs in Braille
Digital Accessibility
Our website complies with WCAG standards and DSTU EN 301 549:2022:
• Contrast adjustment and font scaling
• Alternative text for images
• Plain language and clear structure
• Accessibility via chat and chat-bots
Information Accessibility
We ensure information is understandable for everyone:
• Documents in easy-to-read format
• Materials in large font (minimum 16pt)
• Braille duplicates if needed
• Product instructions explained simply and humanely
Communication Accessibility
UNIQA supports various interaction methods:
• Service offered orally, in writing, by phone, or online
• Interaction available via chat and chat-bots
• Staff trained in inclusive communication
• All communication is respectful and free of stereotypes
Social & Emotional Accessibility
We build a company where everyone has the right to be themselves:
• Considering the needs of veterans, internally displaced persons, people with disabilities in recruitment, onboarding, and career development
• Adapted workstations, remote work options

• Cultivating a culture of tolerance, empathy, and support
