Generally, you should report an insured event as soon as possible. It is best to do so immediately after the event occurs.

If you receive emergency medical care for conditions that threaten the insured person’s life, or in cases of unconsciousness, you should report the insured event as soon as possible.

It is important to notify the insurance company as soon as possible. We recommend that you contact the assistance service immediately after a situation arises that requires assistance.

When contacting them, you must provide your insurance policy number, your location, a description of the circumstances of the incident, and any other information requested by the specialists. Delaying notification can lead to complications in resolving the situation, so it is important to act without delay.

An insured event is defined as a sudden illness (including an exacerbation of a chronic condition) that poses a threat to life or health and requires immediate medical attention. Other insured events include injury or health issues resulting from an accident, death, acute toothache, or complications during pregnancy up to 28 weeks, among others.

In addition to medical risks, a travel insurance policy may cover other unforeseen situations during a trip: loss of luggage by an airline, flight cancellation or delay, loss or theft of personal documents, and legal fees or bail in the event of legal claims abroad.

Important: if the trip abroad is related to scheduled medical treatment or the traveler wishes to consult foreign doctors for a preventive checkup, the policy will not apply. It protects against unexpected health issues requiring emergency or urgent care.

Standard travel insurance typically covers only compensation for lost luggage. To expand your coverage, we recommend choosing the comprehensive plan. Under the terms of this plan, if your luggage is lost by the airline, you are entitled to compensation.

Expenses related to flight delays or cancellations are also covered. Additionally, the plan provides assistance in the event of the loss or theft of personal documents. Another benefit is coverage for legal fees or bail in the event of legal issues in the country of travel.

Yes, you can purchase a travel insurance policy for a group of up to 4 people at once. This policy lists the details of all insured individuals, and the terms and coverage amounts are the same for everyone. This simplifies the process for families or groups of friends traveling together.

At the same time, each participant is entitled to the full scope of medical services under the policy, regardless of who specifically seeks assistance. If you need to insure a group of 5 or more people, submit a request, and our managers will assist you in resolving this matter.

The terms of the contract may be amended by mutual agreement of the parties. This is done in writing or electronically by drawing up a new contract. You don’t need to print out your electronic travel insurance policy. It’s enough to save it on your phone and be able to access the file without an internet connection. However, some countries may require a paper copy when you apply for a visa or cross the border.

Therefore, it is advisable to check the border crossing requirements in advance or to have both an electronic and a paper copy. This will give you peace of mind in any situation.

An extended insurance plan will help in situations that could ruin a trip, such as flight delays or cancellations, or the loss or theft of documents.
