Insurance companies periodically review and update their customers’ information. This is a standard procedure required by Ukrainian legislation on financial monitoring. We may ask you to confirm or update your information if your details have changed or it is time for a routine review.
Therefore, receiving such a request does not in itself mean that you have violated any requirements, made suspicious transactions, or have any issues with your insurance contract.

Verifying your data through myUNIQA is a convenient and reliable way to complete the necessary procedures remotely, without visiting an office. You can provide your data through the app in a secure environment while following standard security practices when using mobile applications.
In most cases, the verification does not take much time if you have provided complete and up-to-date information.
The duration depends on the amount of information and documents that need to be checked. If we need any additional information or clarification, we will contact you, and the verification may take a little longer. To complete the verification faster, please provide all requested information and documents in full.
Depending on the situation, we may ask you to confirm that your information is up to date, update any information that has changed, or provide additional documents.
If your information has not changed, simply let us know using the method specified in our message.
If you need to complete a verification or update your information, we will let you know and guide you through what needs to be done.

If you do not complete the verification or your information is not up to date, some transactions may be temporarily unavailable. For example, you may be unable to enter into a new insurance contract, make certain changes to an existing contract, or carry out certain transactions.

Data verification and updating are carried out in accordance with the requirements of Ukrainian legislation in the field of financial monitoring. As a general rule, data is updated at least once a year or once every three years; in other cases, it is updated at least once every five years, provided there are no grounds for suspicion.
At the same time, a UNIQA manager may contact a client earlier if the Company becomes aware of changes to their data, their documents have expired, the available information is incomplete or requires clarification, or other grounds for data updating or additional verification предусмотренные by law have arisen.
Therefore, receiving a request to update your data does not mean that the same request is being sent to all clients at the same time. The timing and scope of the required verification are determined individually in accordance with legal requirements and a risk-based approach.
In accordance with the legislation of Ukraine, an insurance company is required to identify and verify its clients, as well as ensure that the information obtained about them remains up to date (re-identification).
Therefore, in certain cases, a UNIQA manager may contact you with a request to confirm the information you previously provided, update any changed data, or provide the necessary documents and information.
Such data updates are carried out periodically in accordance with the timeframes established by law, as well as in the event that any changes or discrepancies are identified, or information is received indicating that the data held by the UNIQA may no longer be up to date.
The insurance company is not permitted to provide services to a client if the identification/data update has not been completed in a timely manner.
