IT Support Engineer

UNIQA Insurance Company – a leader of the Ukrainian insurance market and part of the Austrian UNIQA Insurance Group, one of Europe’s largest insurance groups – invites a IT Support Engineer.

Your key responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to users in the Head Office and regional branches
• Manage and resolve user requests and incident tickets
• Deliver remote user support and troubleshoot technical issues
• Administer Windows-based workstations
• Administer and maintain Active Directory
• Configure and prepare workstations for new employees
• Ensure the uninterrupted operation of computer hardware and peripheral devices
• Perform maintenance and support of PCs, multifunction devices (MFPs), printers, and communication equipment
• Configure, administer, and support Microsoft 365 services
• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
• Conduct Active Directory audits and maintain an up-to-date organizational structure within Active Directory

What is important for this role:

• Higher technical education or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• At least 2 years of experience in an IT Service Desk or IT Support role
• Hands-on experience administering Active Directory
• Experience working with Microsoft 365
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
• Experience administering Windows operating systems
• Good knowledge of modern computer hardware and peripheral equipment
• Understanding of multifunction devices (MFPs), printers, IP telephony, 4G modems, and other communication technologies
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
• Punctuality, responsibility, and strong attention to detail
