<li>in case of fire, lightning strike - fire department or State Emergency Service (telephone 101). If the fire occurred as a result of arson, additionally notify the police / MIA authorities (telephone 102);</li>
<li>in the event of a natural disaster - the territorial hydro meteorological service or the State Emergency Service (telephone 101), the housing maintenance department (or other similar organisation) that perform maintenance of the buildings, structures, roofs, and ceilings (for example, due to flooding by precipitation, damage by hail, storm, etc.), and in their absence - the executive bodies of the local administration;</li>
<li>in case of water damage - the housing and utilities department (or other similar organisation) providing maintenance services for water supply, heating, sewerage, and similar systems;</li>
<li>in the event of an explosion of domestic gas used for domestic purposes - the state gas service (telephone 104), the state emergency service (telephone 101), the housing and utilities department (or other similar organisation);</li>
<li>in the case of illegal actions by a third party (theft, robbery, brigandage) - police/authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (telephone 102);</li>
<li>in the event of an impact on the insured property by vehicles - police/traffic police (telephone 102);</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">In case that the risk of liability to third parties is also insured, do not offer or compensate injured third parties (or their representatives) for damages for the damage caused without UNIQA's written consent.</li>

List of documents required to receive insurance claim payment

<li style="text-align: justify;">Insurance contract (policy, certificate);</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Copy of the passport (ID card) of the policyholder (beneficiary) - individual;</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Copy of the individual taxpayer identification number (ITN) certificate of the recipient of the insurance payment - individual;</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Legal documents for the property - technical passport, certificate of ownership;</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Documents from competent authorities, depending on the event that occurred (if necessary);</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Notarized power of attorney for representation of the policyholder's interests, if another person represents their interests in the process of claims settlement resulting from the insurance event (original).</li>
</ul>

Determination of the amount of insurance payment

The calculation of the loss amount is based on the report compiled by the UNIQA representative and includes the amount of expenses required for the restoration or repair of the damaged property.
The loss amount also includes expenses associated with measures to mitigate the consequences of the insurance event and aimed at reducing such consequences (provided they are documented).
The calculation of the insurance payment amount is made based on the calculated loss amount taking into account the deductible specified in the insurance contract terms.

Payment timelines and mechanism

Timelines:

<li style="text-align: justify;">The decision to pay or refuse to pay insurance compensation is taken by the insurer within 5 working days from the date of submission of all necessary documents;</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">The insurance indemnity is paid within 5 working days from the day the Insurer makes a decision to pay the insurance indemnity for the details according to the submitted application for the payment of insurance indemnity.</li>

To receive compensation to a bank account, it is necessary to provide banking details.
If according to the insurance contract terms the beneficiary is a bank, UNIQA coordinates the recipient of the insurance compensation based on a letter from the bank.
