UNIQA Insurance Company — a leader in the Ukrainian insurance market and a member of the Austrian UNIQA Insurance Group, one of the largest insurance groups in Europe, invites a Head of People and Culture to join their team. 

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of People and Culture to lead our HR strategy and operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the employee experience, driving organizational development, and ensuring that our culture aligns with our business goals. This is a strategic leadership position, where you will work closely with the executive team to enhance employee engagement, talent acquisition, and retention, while championing a positive and inclusive workplace. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Leadership & Strategy: Developing and implementing the People & Culture strategy in alignment with UNIQA’s business objectives. 
  • Talent Management: Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and career development initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent. 
  • Employee Engagement: Fostering a culture of engagement and collaboration, ensuring that employees feel valued, supported, and empowered. 
  • Learning & Development: Driving learning initiatives to enhance skill development and career growth across the organization. 
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, ensuring an inclusive workplace for all employees. 
  • Change Management: Leading organizational change efforts, including transformation initiatives, to ensure smooth transitions and sustained success. 
  • HR Operations: Overseeing HR policies, procedures, and compliance, ensuring legal and ethical standards are met. 

What we expect from you: 

  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within a corporate environment. 
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, including talent management, employee relations, and organizational development. 
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels. 
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. 
  • Passion for building and sustaining a positive organizational culture. 
  • Fluency in English and Ukrainian is required.
