Head of Data

Non-banking financial group UNIQA Ukraine - the leader of the insurance market of Ukraine, part of the UNIQA Group(Austria), one of the largest insurance groups in Europe, invites to our team Head of Data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading UNIQA’s Ukraine transformation for systematization of customer data;
• Overseeing data management;
• Creating data strategy, and improving data quality;
• Helping UNIQA team extract the most valuable and relevant insights and findings from the data, leveraging data analytics and business intelligence;
• Developing a state of the art data management strategy in close collaboration with other relevant internal stakeholders;
• Keeping up-to-date with market trends in Analytics and Data technologies and platforms;
• Ensuring data governance and data security requirements;

Personal skills and professional experience:

• University degree as well as 3 years of work experience in a similar job role;
• Distinctive leadership experience and customer and service-oriented behavior;
• Good knowledge of business processes and data needs in an organization, data and analytics tools, processes and data infrastructure, data governance and compliance
• Excellent expertise in Big Data;
• Experience with basic machine learning models and interaction with relational / non-relational databases;
• Knowledge of the specifics of cloud storage (including Microsoft Azure);
• Customer focus: you want and can provide long-term relationships with customers, partners or internal customers;
• Transparency and honesty: you put words into action and are considered trustworthy;
• Independence and autonomy: you are reliable, responsible and proactive;
• Fairness: you treat all members of the team in accordance with and to the same fair standards;
• Strong negotiation skills: you know how to resolve differences diplomatically;
• Organizational skills: you can use resources efficiently and rationally;
